Acts of Valor Hat

Pattern Information:

There are moments when a person is called to greatness, opportunities to rise to the occasion. Whether the moment is small or large does not matter; what does matter is the power contained within those moments, those choices, and the consequences that unfold as a result.

This hat is a “nod” to the moments of rising to the occasion, the acts of valor.

Most significantly, this hat honors the acts of valor made despite seemingly unyielding circumstances.

A simple hat with short bursts of colorwork, this pattern will look best knit with a solid yarn for the main color. Due to its small stitch motif, this pattern is easily customizable. Make a larger or smaller circumference by adding or removing stitches in groups of 8. Make the hat longer or shorter by adding or removing colorwork repeats or rounds of ribbing as desired. To ensure the recipient falls in love with this hat and stays cozy and warm, use a durable yarn with gorgeous color.
